OptAI

You asked what I would change on optai.com. I built it.

Your ad gives every applicant three sentences to name one change that would make a skeptical business owner sign up faster. Mine is below, working, on Salon Hürli.

Ramona Furter, for the Product/Project Manager role you posted on Startupticker.

Ramona Furter

A skeptical owner has to hand over their email before optai.com shows them anything.

You founded OptAI on the finding that the best businesses in Zürich are the most invisible ones. Your signup page has the same shape: the most convincing thing about OptAI is invisible until after the decision. Below is the change, working, with your own example salon and illustrative figures.

Email asked

Optai.com asks first, so the owner leaves with nothing on screen. This asks second.

Salon Hürli Coiffure · Zürich Kreis 5 · rated 4.9
38 visible out of 100
  • Last Google post: 7 months ago. The three salons ranking above you for “Coiffeur Kreis 5” all posted this month.
  • 4 photos, none from this year. Your opening hours have not been confirmed since 2024.
  • Instagram posts twice a month, never on a weekday evening. That is when people book haircuts.

Against the 3,930 Zürich businesses you analysed before founding OptAI, Salon Hürli sits in the bottom third for freshness. The salons in the top third post weekly.

You have seen the summary. The report adds the fixes, in order.

Show the scan on the page, then ask for the email.

what changes

The scan renders its verdict in the browser in seconds. The email field moves below it and buys the full report instead of the first look.

why it converts faster

A skeptic pays with their address only after OptAI has proven it can read their business better than they can.

what only you can put in it

The 3,930 Zürich businesses you already analysed. That benchmark turns a list of flaws into a ranking, and nobody else can print it.

what I would not do instead

Not customer testimonials. With the setup fee still waived for the next 20 businesses there is no bank of results yet, and thin proof reads worse than none. The scan is the proof you can generate today, for every visitor.

How we would know, in two weeks: scan starts to emails given, and emails given to calls booked. At your traffic the read is directional, not significant, so I would ship it to everyone and watch the second number, because the first one can rise while nothing improves.

This page, the screen above and my CV were designed and built by me with Claude Code, the same toolchain I would bring to your three engineers.

Three reasons, and the one you should push on.

01

You need the distance between market signal and shipped feature to stop running through two founders.

At Ifolor I owned the e-commerce ecosystem and strategy for a CHF 100M+ business and reported to C-level, and the roadmap was judged on what it moved: +9% conversion and +15% checkout step rate, through research, A/B testing and analytics. Before that I ran partnerships with UBS and Baloise at Brixel as the bridge between senior stakeholders and the product team.

That is the seat your ad describes: decide what gets built, then get it shipped and measured.

02

Early stage is where I have spent most of my career, and I build the AI myself.

I was on the founding team of WePractice, a Migros-backed health venture: two funding rounds closed, 10 locations, 23 people, 170+ customers, and 1000+ client matches in the first year. At Swiss Post I lead AI business models today, where I cut time spent on sales by 30% and cut proposal feedback time by 90% with a synthetic avatar I built to review pitches before they go out.

I also run Pedal Peak, a live cycling platform I built end to end, so I write the prototype rather than brief it. The screen above took an afternoon.

03

I am not an AI-SEO specialist, and you should ask me about it.

My search work is campaign-side and dated: keyword research and SEA campaigns during a digital marketing rotation at Die Mobiliar from 2019, a CAS Digital Marketing at HWZ, a Google Ads diploma. I have never run answer-engine optimisation, which is your entire category. That knowledge I would have to earn in weeks.

Your ad asks for AI/SEO curiosity, and the depth already sits with Rea and the three engineers. What is missing is the other half, and that half takes years to hire.

Twenty years, ending with the ten that matter here.

About me

I like the part most people find tedious: sitting with an operator until the actual problem falls out, then arguing about what we build first. Everything on my CV that worked started in that conversation.

Outside work I ride, a lot. Pedal Peak started because I wanted a route tool that did not exist, so I built it, and it now has real users who are not me. That is the same instinct that produced the screen above: it was faster to build the answer than to describe it.
